Adjustable alloy damper mounts for SCX10 setups

Supplied as a 1 pr set, these front and rear damper mounts are made for the Axial Racing SCX10 chassis. Machined alloy construction delivers a stiff upper shock mount and the multiple threaded holes let you reposition the shock eye to modify leverage and ride height for better scale performance on crawlers and trail rigs.

Fitting is straightforward for those familiar with basic RC work: remove the original plastic mount, seat the alloy mount on the same bosses, and fasten using the original screws where appropriate. After assembly, confirm correct shock shaft alignment and travel to avoid binding. Some minor body trimming or wire routing changes may be necessary depending on your layout.

Tuning notes: moving the shock eye between hole positions alters the mounting angle and effective spring rate, which influences articulation and body roll. Higher hole positions give more droop while lower ones create a firmer stance. Re-tighten screws after the initial test run and check periodically during use.

Maintenance pointers: inspect threads for wear, apply thread-locker to steel fasteners as required, and keep mating surfaces free of dirt to maintain accurate fit. This product is intended for hobby RC use only and not for road vehicle applications.
