Aftermarket alloy front C-hub for SCX10 Honcho

This alloy front C-hub is an aftermarket upgrade for the Axial Racing SCX10 Honcho and is supplied as model SCX019 from GPM. Designed as a drop-in replacement, it fits the vehicle's stock mounting points and works with the standard front steering components.

Material and role: made from a cast and machined alloy, the hub increases stiffness at the steering knuckle interface compared with stock plastic hubs and provides a robust wear area for axle and kingpin contact.

Installation notes: pull off the wheel and steering knuckle, transfer existing kingpin and mounting hardware where applicable, and trial-fit with your steering knuckles and axle shafts. Use the correct hex bits, avoid excessive torque on fasteners, and confirm steering clearance and range after assembly. Apply thread locker in the normal metal-to-metal locations.

Tuning guidance: installing an alloy hub alters front-end stiffness and feedback; after fitting, recheck toe, caster and linkage geometry and use shims or link adjustments to fine-tune steering response. Check contact faces and fastener security regularly for long-term trail use.
