25mm aluminium wheel hex adapters for trail use

These aluminium wheel hex adapters add 25mm of track width to Axial SCX10 II chassis while maintaining a compact fit. They accept wheels with a 5mm hub hole and are designed to work with 4mm threaded wheel shafts so existing wheels of those specs can be reused.

Retention is handled by a sealed spring assembly: an O-ring on one face, and on the opposite face a spring steel retaining ring, a spring with washers and a stainless screw to compress the components. Inside the hex a Delrin collar locates the wheel and helps prevent relative rotation under crawling torque.

As a tuning accessory the adapters widen wheel stance to improve lateral stability during rock crawling and slow-speed trail running. Always confirm axle thread and hub measurements prior to fitment, ensure the spring and retaining hardware are installed correctly, and verify the Delrin collar centers the wheel to reduce runout.

What measurements do I need before buying?

Measure your wheel hub inner diameter and confirm the axle uses a 4mm threaded shaft; these adapters require a 5mm wheel hole and a 4mm shaft.

How should I seat the Delrin collar and springs?

Fit the Delrin collar inside the hex first, place the O-ring and retaining ring as specified, then assemble the spring and washers and tighten the stainless screw until the spring is compressed and secure.

Will these work for high speed runs?
