This aluminum servo mount is intended for use with the Axial SCX10 II chassis and is offered as model JR-AS206. It acts as a rigid replacement for softer plastic mounts, helping to cut down on unwanted movement in the servo area during technical driving.
The part is machined from aluminum and secures the servo at the chassis' original mounting point for SCX10 II. The firmer mount gives the servo horn and linkage a more stable datum, aiding consistent steering feedback when negotiating obstacles or heavy loads.
Installation uses the SCX10 II's existing mounting locations: remove the body or access panel as required, position the mount in the servo bay, fit the servo and fasten. Confirm servo travel and horn position before final torqueing to prevent binding issues.
As a tuning component, the mount increases mounting stiffness over common plastic pieces. That additional stiffness can improve steering consistency, making small trim changes more predictable when fine tuning steering behaviour and servo selection.
