Adjustable main shaft for technical crawling

This main shaft assembly is built for AXIAL SCX10 II applications, featuring an aluminium 6061 T6 body mated to hardened steel universal swing heads to reduce rotational inertia while maintaining durable head contact surfaces under load.

The universal swing head layout expands available steering angle and wheel articulation over many stock shafts, making it easier to navigate tight obstacles at low speed. Silicone O-rings separate the head from the alloy body and a pinned head design helps prevent loosening during repeated suspension travel.

Measured adjustable axle ranges are provided as build reference: front adjustable length 100-110mm, rear adjustable length 130-140mm. Use these figures to check compatibility before final installation and ensure pins and screws are torqued to prevent play.
