6061 T6 aluminium hex adapters suited to SCX10 II and UMG10

This adapter kit links wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 rigs. Manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminium, the components are intended to provide a stiffer, more durable connection than common plastic hexes for crawling and trail driving.

The adapters mount over the axle and locate the wheel, held in place with the supplied steel pins and stainless cap head screws. The assortment includes a flat front hex and a raised rear hex to match typical axle and hub clearances on SCX10 II-style axles. Replace worn plastic hexes or fit aluminum adapters where reduced flex is desired.

Fitting notes: remove the wheel and old hex, slide the aluminium hex onto the axle, align the retention hole and secure with the provided pin and cap head screw. Check that wheels spin freely and inspect runout after installation. No changes to motor or ESC are implied.

Tuning impact: aluminium hex adapters reduce hub compliance which can change steering feel at low speeds and affect wheel centring under load. Combine with suitable wheel offset and suspension adjustments to tune behaviour on your model.
