Bottom protector plate for SCX10 III gearboxes

This stainless steel bottom protector is an RC-scale accessory that protects the front and rear gearbox housings of Axial SCX10 III Jeep Wrangler models. The plate is positioned under the chassis contour to block sand, pebbles and direct impacts that would otherwise abrade or dent gearbox cases during off-road sessions.

The part ships as a 2 pcs set and uses stainless steel to improve resistance against exposure to air and moisture, reducing surface corrosion compared with plain sheet metal. Its geometry follows the gearbox underside so it shields key areas without adding unnecessary bulk.

Installation is intended to be simple, securing the plate close to the gearbox bottom to keep ground clearance and maintain service access. In use the protector helps preserve gearbox strength and minimises debris-related wear while leaving drivetrain geometry unchanged.

What surfaces does this guard help on?
