Front and rear gearbox bottom protector

This GPM aftermarket mount set is a stainless steel bottom protector made for the AXIAL SCX24 Deadbolt scale crawler. The pair of plates protect the lower faces of the front and rear gearbox housings to reduce sand and pebble ingress and to take minor hits while on trails.

The hardware set includes the protector plates and the fasteners required for installation so no additional parts are needed: Gear Box Protector - 2pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x4 - 4pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x10 - 4pcs, install mount - 2pcs. All metal parts are stainless steel for corrosion resistance when exposed to air and moisture.

Practical notes: the protectors sit close to the gearbox bottom and fasten to chassis mounting points or the supplied install mounts. Use the included screws and observe correct thread engagement and torque to avoid crushing plastic bosses. The protection is aimed at preventing abrasion and direct rock contact with minimal effect on ride height or handling.

Do these require drilling or cutting?

No cutting is normally needed; the kit is designed to mount to existing chassis points or the supplied mounts for a direct fit.
