Brass gearbox cover for SCX24 upgrades

This brass gearbox cover is designed for the AXIAL SCX24 DEADBOLT and compatible 1/24 4WD SCX24 vehicles. Turned from brass, it replaces the factory front and rear gearbox caps to provide a tougher and flatter mounting surface around the differential area and to help maintain gear alignment during use. The set includes the cover and the cap-head screws needed for installation so no extra fasteners are required.

Notes for fitment: the part mounts to the front and rear gearbox positions as a direct replacement for the OEM cap referenced in the original listing. The added brass mass (as shown in the source) gives a modest weight bias that can affect diff load and handling characteristics, useful when making small tuning changes. Precision machining is used to hold the differential centred and to cut down lateral play while leaving internal gears untouched.
