This brass gearbox cover is intended for the AXIAL SCX6 1/6 4WD Jeep JLU Wrangler chassis and fits the front and rear gearbox areas to increase mechanical protection while adding realistic scale weight without altering the stock differential layout.
CNC machined from brass into a compact 3D profile, the cover helps stabilise the differential and maintain alignment under load thanks to precise machining tolerances. The package includes one cover and four stainless steel 3x25 cap head screws for secure attachment, and the surface is finished with an anodised colour coating for improved abrasion resistance.
Fitting is uncomplicated: remove the original cover on the selected axle, align the brass cover to the existing mounting points and secure with the supplied screws. After installation, inspect gear mesh and bearing alignment and rotate the drivetrain manually before powered testing. This item is for RC model tuning and scale protection only.
