This 20pcs aluminium ball end set is an aftermarket swap for the Axial SCX6 crawler, marketed as SCX6162/BE. The kit replaces standard plastic ball ends on steering and suspension linkages with machined 6061 T6 aluminium units intended for hobby and trail running.
The design uses matched clockwise and anticlockwise threads so you can alter rod length without dismantling the linkage, and each tie rod end includes a small locating hole to help lock adjustments in place. The aluminium bodies aim to deliver improved wear resistance and a steadier steering feel over uneven terrain.
Fitment tips: replace the plastic ends on front steering tie rods, servo linkage and front/rear link bars, then rotate the threaded sections to set toe and link lengths. The kit does not include fitting tools.
