The MJ1555T kit pairs an aluminium spur gear adapter with a 55T steel spur intended for AXIAL SMT10 platforms. It acts as a replacement for the original plastic spur and adapter where a stronger steel gear is preferred.
Included in the kit are the mounting screws, a 4mm lock nut, Pelrin collar and steel posts to attach the adaptor and spur to the existing assembly. The upgrade keeps the stock mounting geometry and shaft spacing for straightforward installation.
From a tuning perspective this is a component-level durability upgrade: the steel 55T spur handles higher torque without rapid wear, while the aluminium adapter reduces weight and helps maintain concentric alignment with the pinion. Verify mesh and clearances during install to avoid interference with the gearbox or suspension movement.
Use MJ1555T when you want a more robust steel spur with a lightweight adapter to keep consistent gear engagement on SMT10-based rigs.
