These 12mm alloy hex adaptors are designed for Axial Wraith wheel hubs and are supplied as a 4pcs matched set. They replace standard plastic hexes when stronger wheel retention and better wear characteristics are required for off-road and trail use.
The adaptors mount between the wheel and hub hex interface on Wraith-style axles. Typical fitting steps are to remove the stock hex, seat the alloy adaptor properly on the hub, then refit the wheel while checking engagement and thread alignment.
As a tuning part they switch the wheel-to-hub interface to aluminium alloy for more consistent wheel positioning and reduced wear compared with many stock plastic hexes, helping to preserve alignment over rough runs.
