The gunmetal aluminum servo saver is an aftermarket replacement produced by JAZRIDER for the Axial Yeti chassis. It replaces common plastic components with a machined aluminum assembly to reduce flex at the steering linkage and create a firmer interface between the servo output and steering geometry.
Fitting is familiar to builders of 1/10-scale rock racers: remove the stock saver, reuse any compatible screws and the original horn where possible, fit the aluminum saver onto the servo spline and confirm centring and travel before finishing the install. It has been designed to operate within the Yeti's standard steering layout without altering chassis members.
As a tuning aid the aluminium saver lowers deformation under load for more repeatable steering inputs and alters perceived steering stiffness compared to stock plastic pieces. It is especially helpful when pairing the chassis with stronger, faster servos that would otherwise stress softer parts.
Install this saver when you need a firmer servo-to-linkage connection on Axial Yeti kits; verify spline match and linkage geometry and re-check centring after initial testing.
