This aluminium steering assembly rod is an aftermarket component designed for the Axial Yeti platform and identified as YT049. It is supplied as a single replacement rod intended for scale steering link use, offering greater rigidity than common plastic parts.

Swap this rod in to replace worn or broken steering hardware or to reduce flex that can cause vague steering feel. Installation typically requires removing the original rod and securing the aluminium rod to the existing linkage anchors, ensuring ball/socket engagement and unobstructed movement through the suspension travel.
