This RC-scale steering tie rod is intended for the Axial Racing Yeti platform and is supplied as a pair. The unit combines a spring steel rod body with machined aluminium end fittings to resist thread wear where the linkage connects to ball joints and steering knuckles.

Servicing as an aftermarket replacement, the component targets long service life under the scraping and low-speed impacts common to trail and rock use. It connects the servo linkage to the steering assembly, so its role is improving steering reliability and feel rather than changing vehicle speed.

Fitting replaces the stock tie rod at the same chassis linkage points and steering hubs. No special adapters are required; the part is designed for use with the same ball ends and mounting positions as the original Yeti rod. Confirm your current linkage length and ball-end spacing before installing to ensure correct steering geometry.

As a tuning piece, this is mainly a durability enhancement. The spring steel centre helps avoid stripped threads at the aluminium ends under repeated impacts, while aluminium terminations provide a harder mating surface for ball ends compared with many factory plastic components.
