Steering post, aluminium, for Yeti XL

This aftermarket steering post is an RC-scale replacement produced by GPM for the Axial Racing Yeti XL chassis, supplied as a 1 pr set. Machined aluminium construction gives a firmer mounting point than stock plastic while maintaining scale-compatible linkage spacing.

The part installs into the Yeti XL steering assembly serving as the pivot and mounting point for the servo linkages and drag link. It is supplied to align with AX31035 stock mounting positions so original linkage geometry and steering limiters remain usable.

For setup and tuning, the aluminium post reduces flex at the pivot and helps keep steering inputs predictable over rough ground when paired with correctly adjusted link lengths and wheel alignment. After fitting, check fastener torque and steering free play before driving.

It uses standard RC fasteners; keep the original hardware where possible but replace any worn screws. A small amount of thread locker is recommended for metal-fastened joints.
A stiffer pivot can transmit more force back to the servo under impact; proper shock setup and steering geometry tuning help minimise kickback effects.
Parts are machined and ready to fit; paint or anodising is optional for appearance but not required for function.
