Front-end knuckle upgrade for Yeti XL

The YTL-25000 front knuckles are an aluminum replacement set created for the Axial Yeti XL steering system. These machined parts stiffen the mounting point compared with stock plastic knuckles to reduce flex and help the suspension hold its geometry during aggressive driving.

When compatible, the knuckles swap straight in and can be used as a tuning item to alter steering feel and caster stability. Supplied as a left and right set; always verify compatibility with your hub carriers and steering link lengths prior to installation.

Installation notes: these arms mount to existing front hub carriers and normally use the stock fasteners and linkage positions on Yeti XL models. Major trimming is not expected for typical setups, but check for any interference with wheels or C-hubs after fitting. Routine inspection of pins and bearings will keep the front end operating smoothly.

Install these knuckles to stiffen the front end and provide a more stable platform for steering adjustments; maintain proper torque and bearing condition to prevent accelerated wear.

A stiffer knuckle reduces flex, which sharpens steering response and helps maintain caster under load, resulting in more predictable handling during aggressive runs.
It is wise to re-check toe and caster after installation; the firmer pivot may require small trim or link adjustments to retain your preferred steering geometry.
The primary effect is reduced pivot flex rather than a change in travel. However, small geometry shifts can be felt, so test and adjust damping or spring rates if needed.
For crawling, combine the knuckles with softer shocks and slight caster adjustments to balance steering precision with the wheel articulation required for technical terrain.
