This aluminium rear lower chassis stiffener is a scale RC component made for the Axial Yeti XL chassis to reinforce the underside and reduce bending of the rear chassis plate under load. It is supplied as a bolt-on reinforcement intended for trail and hobby use on Axial Yeti XL vehicles.

Fitting is simple for experienced builders: remove the original lower rear plate, line up the stiffener with the factory mounting points and secure it using the stock screws. No changes to motor, ESC or gearbox are necessary; ensure your model uses the Axial Yeti XL lower chassis layout for compatibility.

As a setup change the stiffener alters how the rear end reacts to rough terrain and suspension travel. Expect a firmer rear section with less chassis twist, which can increase stability but might require slight suspension re-tune for preferred handling.
