The TY1 HS3911 functions as an RC balance lead adapter to connect a 4S 14.8V LiPo pack's balance port to a charger's 5-pin balance socket. It simplifies access to individual cell taps for balancing and monitoring when using compatible bench or multi-chemistry chargers.

To fit the adaptor, ensure your charger is powered down, attach the adaptor to the battery balance lead, then place the adaptor into the charger's balance input. Set the charger to LiPo and the 4S cell count before commencing charge. The adaptor does not handle main charging current and does not replace main leads or protective electronics.

In setup and tuning routines the adaptor is handy for quick voltage spot-checks and for performing balance cycles during storage or after heavy use. Regularly check plug condition and wiring for damage and follow your charger's safety instructions.
