Stiff aluminium rear hub carrier compatible with BD7/BD5

The BD-415A00 rear hub carrier is a machined aluminium spare designed to replace the stock 0 degree unit on touring chassis. It preserves the factory toe-in while increasing hub stiffness for improved component durability and more consistent rear response.

Installation notes: this carrier mounts using the same points as the original 0 degree carrier, so it installs as a direct swap. Verify the suspension arm position and wheel hex engagement prior to final torque. Use a suitable thread locking product on fasteners and adhere to the chassis maker’s torque settings.

Durability focus: the stiffer aluminium construction helps resist deformation under heavy loads, which can extend predictable handling life and reduce variable rear compliance during repeated high-speed cornering.

The carrier is CNC machined from aluminium to increase strength and stiffness; standard care such as cleaning and avoiding prolonged moisture exposure will help maintain condition. Surface finishing varies by batch, so inspect parts before fitting.
The increased stiffness and material strength typically reduce deformation under load, which can lower the risk of wear-related issues. However, no part is indestructible; track conditions and impacts remain the main risk factors.
Regularly check fastener torque, clean grit from mounting areas, and inspect for signs of fatigue after heavy use. Reapply thread locker if parts are serviced frequently.
