Rear Drive Belt: BD7-2015 Fitment Details

The Yokomo BD-207L is the rear drive belt used when a BD7-2015 touring car is converted to a front-mounted motor layout. It replaces the original belt and transmits power from the converted motor position to the rear gearbox.

Compatibility is limited to the BD7-2015 variants MRTC-BD715B, MRTC-BD715O, and MRTC-BD715S listed for this part. Double-check your chassis code before fitting to ensure correct fitment.

Installation notes: install the belt following the converted pulley route, confirm pulleys are parallel and aligned, and tension to remove slack without overloading bearings. Inspect belt seating and look for uneven wear after the initial run-in period.

Performance role: this belt links the motor to the rear geartrain and has a direct effect on drivetrain smoothness and responsiveness. Keeping correct belt tension and alignment minimizes slop and drivetrain losses; replace belts that show stretching or fraying to preserve consistent power delivery.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This belt is intended for the BD7-2015 variants MRTC-BD715B, MRTC-BD715O, and MRTC-BD715S. Use on other chassis codes is not recommended without verifying pulley positions and clearances first.
Replace the belt when you observe fraying, glazing, noticeable stretch, or uneven wear. Check the belt after the first few runs post-install and then regularly as part of routine maintenance.
