Short Shock II SLF piston for tuning

This replacement short shock piston is intended for BD7-2016 shock bodies and provides a targeted 1.1 x 3-hole SLF flow rate. It allows modelers to adjust internal damping bleed characteristics without affecting the shock's external dimensions.

Fitting requires disassembly of the short shock unit, swapping the stock piston with this SLF piston, and reassembling seals and shafts in their original order. Verify piston direction and available stroke before completing reassembly, and match piston choice with the shock oil viscosity you plan to run.

In tuning practice the piston changes how oil bleeds through the piston holes and alters mid-speed and high-speed compression behavior when used in BD7-2016 shock bodies. Make piston changes as part of systematic setup adjustments, changing one variable at a time to observe effects on handling.
