Durable graphite hub carrier crafted for BD8 RTC

The B8-RTC-14 is a hard rear hub carrier produced from graphite-molded resin for the BD8 2018 chassis equipped with the optional RTC rear toe control. It is offered as an aftermarket hop-up to provide a firmer hub mounting location than softer resin alternatives.

By reducing hub compliance, this carrier can cause toe to respond more rapidly under load and in direction changes, which in turn influences corner entry and mid-corner behaviour. When installing this part consider complementary setup changes to anti-roll bars, damper settings and toe adjustments to fine tune handling.

Installation is direct for those familiar with BD8 maintenance: swap the stock RTC-compatible rear knuckle for this carrier and reuse the chassis' standard hub bolts and bearings. After fitting, check for correct clearance, bearing play and balanced rear toe before full running.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Graphite-molded resin typically offers reduced compliance compared with softer resin knuckles, yielding a firmer mount for the hub. That increases responsiveness but does not guarantee improved impact resistance in all situations.
Expect quicker toe reaction; as a result you may want to soften rear dampers slightly or adjust toe-in and swaybars to retain predictable balance through corner transitions.
Routine inspection for bearing wear and hub free play is recommended, as with any hub carrier. No special maintenance is required beyond standard checks and replacing worn hardware when necessary.
