Product summary and fitment

This replacement suspension arm is intended for use with the optional RTC (Rear Toe Control) system on the BD8 2018 platform. The arm maintains a 53mm in/out suspension pin measurement and locates the shock pivot at 39.5mm to match BD8 RTC geometry.

Fitment is focused on BD8 on-road chassis and the item is explicitly listed as suitable for MRTC-BD8SV. Use the arm when adding or adjusting the RTC unit to change rear toe behaviour without altering the main bulkhead or primary suspension layout.

Installation notes: supplied as a direct-fit for BD8 RTC mounting points, you will normally reuse the car's existing pins and hardware unless replacement hardware is needed. After installation ensure correct alignment, free articulation, and that the arm clears the shock and driveshafts.

Tuning impact: installing this arm within an RTC-equipped rear provides a consistent way to modify rear toe sensitivity. Small changes to arm or pivot positions give repeatable toe response while braking and cornering, assisting balance and traction on race-prepared on-road tracks.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special machining is normally required if your BD8 has the RTC mounting points. The arm is a direct-fit spare for those points; only cars missing the mounts would need additional work.
Confirm the 53mm pin spacing and the 39.5mm shock pivot location sit correctly with the installed RTC unit. Also check for free range of motion and no contact with nearby components.
The arm is designed to tune rear toe sensitivity, producing predictable changes rather than large shifts. Proper setup will improve corner exit traction and stability when used with the RTC system.
