This aluminum motor mount is produced as an aftermarket chassis part suitable for BD9 2019 cars. It mounts on the left side of the center bulkhead to produce a more even chassis stiffness profile when combined with the standard motor location. The intended effect is a controlled change in torsional behaviour, not a revision of suspension geometry.
In use the mount is intended to help drivers tune balance and rigidity. Shifting the motor fitment to the left center bulkhead narrows the left-right stiffness gap and can alter turn-in and mid-corner balance on touring car tracks. Installation is a direct swap at the chassis level and does not change suspension pickup locations.
As an aluminum chassis-level option, this motor mount is aimed at builders seeking to manage left-right rigidity on BD9 platforms; double-check gear mesh and motor centring during setup.
