Center bulkhead aluminum motor mount for BD9

This aluminum motor mount is produced as an aftermarket chassis part suitable for BD9 2019 cars. It mounts on the left side of the center bulkhead to produce a more even chassis stiffness profile when combined with the standard motor location. The intended effect is a controlled change in torsional behaviour, not a revision of suspension geometry.

In use the mount is intended to help drivers tune balance and rigidity. Shifting the motor fitment to the left center bulkhead narrows the left-right stiffness gap and can alter turn-in and mid-corner balance on touring car tracks. Installation is a direct swap at the chassis level and does not change suspension pickup locations.

Moving the motor mount to the left center bulkhead tends to alter chassis twist characteristics, which can sharpen or soften turn-in depending on overall setup. Test with small setup steps.
The mount changes the local stiffness rather than significantly shifting mass. Any change to effective weight distribution is minor, though it can influence how load transfers through the chassis.
Yes. Small tweaks to damping or anti-roll settings may help extract the desired handling once the mount is fitted; evaluate changes progressively on the track.
It is suitable as a tuning tool for racers who want predictable chassis stiffness adjustments. Ensure correct installation and verify gear mesh under load before competitive use.
