The Yokomo YAS-1000A big bore rear shock spring has been developed for artificial high-grip tracks such as carpet and astro turf. Its reduced length allows a lower ride height while aiming to maintain control during landings and through corners.

When used on carpet or turf the spring helps produce cleaner landings, lowers the risk of bumping into the surface in tight turns, and reduces sudden roll events common on grippy circuits. Intended for rear shocks that accept big bore springs.

Maintenance advice: inspect the spring for wear or distortion after heavy use, and verify correct seating on the shock to prevent uneven compression. Tune preload and damping gradually to match the reduced ride height and expected load from jumps. This part is for RC vehicles only.
