Durable black grease for R/C maintenance

Yokomo YOKCSBG Black Grease is formulated as an R/C maintenance lubricant for general-purpose parts. The black grease is intended for routine servicing and modest assembly work where a thicker, non-running lubricant is desired.

The grease is aimed at general R/C use across numerous parts. Typical spots include moving joints, drive linkages, and other assemblies that benefit from a lubricant that remains where applied. The text intentionally does not assert specific chemical properties or measured performance figures.

Application notes: remove any old lubricant and contaminants, then apply a small amount with a brush or spatula to the contact surfaces. Operate the mechanism briefly to distribute the grease and then wipe off excess. Protect electronic contacts by keeping grease away from ESC connectors and motor terminals.

Tuning considerations: this black grease acts as a service item that can influence friction and backlash in drivetrain areas. When setting clearances or fitting new parts, apply sparingly in sensitive spots and more liberally where a protective film is needed to reduce metal-on-metal wear.

This item is offered as a straightforward maintenance grease for R/C models, intended to keep movable parts running smoothly during routine service and assembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Pivot points, drive linkages and other joints where a lasting film helps reduce wear are prime candidates for this grease.
Use a fine brush or a small spatula to work a thin layer into tight interfaces, then cycle the part to work the grease into place and clean off any excess.
Avoid contact with sensor surfaces, connector pins, and motor terminals. Grease on electrical contacts can impair conductivity and should be prevented.
