Urethane front bumper for 1/10 touring cars

A black urethane bumper built to replace worn or broken front bumpers on 1/10 scale RC cars where impact absorption and flex are needed. The Kyosho VZ022BK maintains a balance between resilience and shape retention to protect body shells and mounting points during normal use and setup changes.

Suitable for standard bolt-on bumper mounts on many touring and on-road 1/10 chassis; always check the hole pattern and hardware before final installation. The flexible profile helps limit shock transmission to delicate body clips and mounting tabs while remaining compact for low-profile configurations.

  • Material: Urethane (black)
  • Part type: Replacement bumper, low-profile
  • Compatibility: Fits many 1/10 on-road and touring chassis with standard bolt-on bumper mounts
  • Notes: Replaces older part VZ022BL

Installation and service tips

Pre-fit the bumper and line up the chassis mounting points before tightening. Incremental tightening reduces stress on tabs. After dusty or coarse runs wash off grit and inspect mounting areas for cracks. Swap the bumper if torn or permanently distorted to preserve correct mounting geometry.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Minor trimming of the outer profile can be done to suit body lines, but avoid altering mounting areas. Test-fit regularly when trimming to ensure alignment.
Yes. The urethane material soaks up small impacts and reduces force transfer to thin body panels and clip points, helping prevent minor shell damage.
Urethane resists brittle cracking better than many hard plastics, but check for splits around holes and replace if deformation or tearing appears.
