Gear drive cup for B-MAX2 MR/RS models

This is the gear differential drive cup intended for Yokomo B-MAX2 MR and B-MAX2 RS 1/10 electric touring vehicles. It interfaces with the differential output and transfers torque to the driveline components.

Use is restricted to the specified B-MAX2 MR/RS models; always confirm part numbers against your chassis diagram. Before installing the replacement cup, inspect mating splines and the output shaft for any damage or deformation and renew any compromised parts to prevent premature wear.

Installation notes: remove the differential per the chassis instructions, fit the drive cup onto the output shaft, and confirm correct engagement with the axle or dogbone. Ensure smooth rotation and freedom from binding before completing reassembly. Use the existing fasteners where appropriate and apply thread-lock as recommended.

Tuning perspective: while the cup is a maintenance component rather than an upgrade, correct seating and minimal interface play help preserve predictable drivetrain response and steady power transfer under acceleration.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Replacing a worn drive cup restores precise driveline engagement, which can remove unpredictable drivetrain behavior. It does not act as a performance upgrade, but it supports consistent handling by removing slop.
No special tools are typically needed beyond the standard set used for your chassis. Follow the chassis removal and refit procedure, and use appropriate screwdrivers and pliers for pins as required.
A properly seated drive cup with minimal play reduces drivetrain losses from slop and helps ensure consistent power delivery, but it should be treated as maintenance rather than a tuning upgrade.
