This item is a rear shock spring intended for the B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear assembly and is finished in S. blue. It is supplied as a direct replacement for the rear X-shock spring.
The spring's purpose is to set preload and initial restoring force in the rear big bore damper; it requires the X-shock Ver.2 piston, shaft, and outer body to function and is not a complete damper assembly.
Fitting is routine for anyone comfortable with shock maintenance: remove the rear X-shock, take off the cap and retainer, slide on the new spring, then rebuild using your original internals and preferred preload. Make sure the spring seats correctly and the shaft cycles freely before reinstallation.
Tuning guidance: swap this spring to adjust rear ride height and the initial response band, staying within the range supported by existing Ver.2 hardware and checking collar/retainer fit. Do not force onto incompatible shock types.
