This component is an RC-scale rear suspension spring specified for BMax4 rear shock assemblies. The orange soft coil lowers the spring rate to favour rear compliance for setups that require more grip from the rear axle on 1/10 electric touring cars.
Fitment is targeted at BMax4 rear shock housings and the standard spring retainers that come with that platform. Installation follows familiar shock service steps: remove the shock from the car, compress and remove the spring cap, exchange the spring, then reinstall and check preload and ride height. Standard tools such as hex drivers and shock pliers are recommended.
Tuning notes: fitting a softer rear spring will reduce rear sprung stiffness, which can enhance traction but may increase roll and squat. Match spring softness with suitable shock oil and piston choices, make incremental changes, and test on-track to find the best balance.
