Aluminium servo mounting plate for B-Max4

This aluminium servo mount is a direct-fit replacement for the B-Max4 chassis that creates a solid mounting surface for standard RC servos on this platform. It is intended to minimise movement at the servo fixing points so the servo remains correctly positioned during suspension travel.

As an aluminium component it is stiffer than many stock polymer mounts, which helps preserve steering geometry during dynamic loads and makes trim adjustments more predictable.

Fitting the plate is straightforward for people familiar with B-Max4 servicing: it uses the original mounting locations. When replacing the stock part, verify servo horn clearance and linkage geometry before finalising steering endpoints.

Remove the stock servo mount, align the YOKBM200L in the same position, and secure using the original screw points. Confirm servo horn clearance before tightening all fasteners.
Light threadlocker on metal-to-metal fastenings is recommended for racing or heavy use to keep screws secure without making future removal difficult.
After installation, cycle the suspension and check servo horn and linkage travel through the full range to avoid binding before setting endpoints.
Yes, the original mounting screws are typically suitable; replace any worn fasteners to ensure a secure fit.
