Heavy-duty front bumper mount for CC-01

This CNC-cut aluminium mount is offered as a robust replacement for CC-01 bumper supports, intended to keep the front bumper and nose area rigid under scale and off-road use while maintaining stock suspension geometry.

Fabricated from 6061-T6 with a 3D profile, the part reduces flex versus plastic originals and delivers consistent mounting locations thanks to controlled machining tolerances.

Included hardware lets you install the mount on standard CC-01 layouts and offers compatibility with certain upgrade plates when required:

  • Stainless steel flat head screw 3x12 - 2 pcs
  • Stainless steel flat head screw 3x14 - 3 pcs
  • Alloy collar 3x6x2.5 - 2 pcs

Note on assembly: if using part CC054M Alloy Front Lower Arm Plate, position the supplied 3x6x2.5 alloy collars above the CC054M locating holes to achieve the intended spacing. If you do not have CC054M the collars are optional.

Does this mount need thread lock?

Use medium-strength thread lock on metal-to-metal fasteners if you expect heavy vibration or hard trail use, otherwise hand-tightening to spec is sufficient.

Can I paint or anodise it?

Surface finishing is possible; ensure proper preparation and that any coating does not interfere with mounting faces or screw fit.

Will this affect steering response?

The part stiffens the bumper area and can slightly improve perceived steering precision by reducing front-end flex, but it does not alter steering geometry.

Are the alloy collars critical for alignment?

The collars are used specifically with part CC054M to set the correct offset; without CC054M they are not required for a standard fit.
