Outer axle housing for 1/12 models

This axle housing / cover is supplied as a replacement for 1/12 scale monster truck drivetrains. It acts as the outer casing that positions axle components and shields internal drive elements during aggressive use.

Compatibility is limited to the listed CEN models. When replacing the housing confirm axle-to-wheel hex alignment to prevent binding, inspect and set gear mesh and bearing seating, and reuse factory fasteners where they remain serviceable to keep chassis geometry intact.

For ride and handling this component restores axle placement and protection and is used to correct misalignment after impacts; it does not itself change torque delivery or suspension characteristics.

Compatible Models

  • CE-8912 1/12 2WD RTR Monster Truck Fiat Abarth 595
  • CE-8936Y/8937BL 1/12 2WD RTR Monster Truck Suzuki Jimny
  • Supported Chassis CE-8912 / CE-8936Y / CE-8937BL
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No direct change to power delivery is expected. A correctly fitted housing can improve drivetrain smoothness by ensuring accurate axle alignment, which may feel like a reduction in binding during acceleration.
Yes, reusing original hardware is standard if components are undamaged. Replace any worn fasteners or bearings to maintain a secure assembly.
Check wheel hex engagement, confirm straight axle seating, and set correct gear mesh. Small misalignments are the usual cause of binding, so verify every interface during assembly.
