The Yokomo Z4-CTP is the hard variant of the RC center tensioner post, created for use with the YZ-4 series of 1/10 4WD off-road cars. It serves as a direct replacement to control center belt or cable tension in the drivetrain arrangement.

By increasing resistance to deformation rather than altering suspension geometry, the hard post can reduce drivetrain lash and maintain more consistent belt tension during spirited driving. Swap to this hard unit when you want a firmer center-tension response compared to a softer part.

Fitting is straightforward on compatible YZ-4 chassis: position the post in the factory location and fasten with the original mounting hardware. Verify belt tracking and that drivetrain elements rotate freely before the initial run, and avoid overtightening the mounting screws.
