This CNC-machined aluminium centre gearbox is an RC-scale replacement designed to provide a stronger metal enclosure for double-shaft tractor truck drivetrains. The part is focused on protecting internal gears and helping to dissipate heat from the gearbox into ambient airflow without referring to any full-scale vehicle use.

Fabricated from Aluminium 6061 T6 via multi-axis CNC machining, the casing aims to resist wear and assist heat fanning around the gearset. The 3D machined geometry increases mechanical protection for the drive train compared with stock plastic housings.

Fitment targets double-shaft truck drivetrains where a central gearbox holds drive gears; the item is intended to enhance drivetrain durability and thermal performance rather than promise unspecified power gains.

The supplied kit includes mounting hardware to secure the casing; use the provided screws when replacing the factory plastic housing to preserve original mounting locations.
