This kit provides RC-scale internal replacement gears intended for Futaba-listed S3117 and S3157 servos and the associated gear assemblies identified by AS3274 and EBS3358 codes. It is aimed at restoring proper internal geometry and gear mesh after component wear, helping maintain expected servo response in modelling use.

Use the set when a servo presents backlash, inconsistent centring, or intermittent gear noise caused by worn or broken teeth. The parts are supplied to replicate the original gear train layout referred to by the product identifiers.

Installation notes and tuning role:

• Check the servo case for the S3117 or S3157 marking before disassembly to confirm compatibility.
• Open the servo and place the factory gears next to the replacements to verify orientation and stacking order.
• After installation, turn the output spline by hand to confirm smooth mesh and free rotation prior to powering up or reconnecting linkages.
• Carry out trim and endpoint adjustments on your transmitter to validate restored centring and travel; monitor for any abnormal noises under a light load.
