This 48T Delrin main gear is supplied as a single piece for the HPI Savage 21 platform. Manufactured from Delrin, it is intended to reduce friction and provide reasonable wear life without implying enhanced performance over metal gears.

Fitment follows normal Savage 21 gearbox procedures: remove the existing spur assembly, inspect mating gear faces and bearing play, and install the replacement while adjusting gear mesh to the recommended clearance. Do routine checks for backlash and alignment after installation.
