The JR-THNE01-GU front lower arms fit the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) as an aluminium replacement for the factory plastic arms. The gun metal coating is selected to blend with typical anodised hop-ups while increasing mounting rigidity over stock parts.
These arms serve as the primary anchor for the front suspension, shaping steering geometry, toe stability, and how cornering loads are transferred into the suspension. Aluminium pieces reduce flex where the arms mount, which supports steadier geometry under aggressive driving and during setup changes.
Installation is a chassis-level replacement, using the Hornet EVO's original mounting points. If included hardware is not supplied, reuse factory screws where appropriate and always verify there is unhindered suspension movement before final torqueing.
Use these arms as part of a staged tuning approach: tighten up the front with alignment verification, damper tuning, and anti-roll adjustments to see how handling evolves. Monitor the aluminum for stress and check for any interference with steering linkages after extended runs.
