Main shaft in graphite for Tamiya drivetrains

This RC graphite main shaft comes as 1pc and features alloy ends, intended where the TT01 shaft profile is specified and noted as compatible with TT02 and TT02B. The combination of a graphite central section and machined alloy terminations helps control axial and torsional deflection in the drivetrain.

Fitting is a straight swap when the original seating and retaining system match the part; removal of the gearbox or centre transmission is required to access the shaft. On reassembly confirm correct end engagement, check runout and then recheck gear and wheel mesh settings to maintain optimal alignment.

From a tuning perspective the graphite centre reduces flex relative to all-plastic shafts while alloy ends preserve secure mating with outdrives, delivering firmer rotational feel and less lash without altering gearbox geometry. Verify compatibility and inspect mating parts before prolonged use.
