The TT02-13117-RD universal swing shaft set is an aftermarket tuning part intended for direct replacement on Tamiya TT-02 chassis. Machined from aluminum and anodized red, these shafts aim to stabilise the swing shaft joint and preserve driveline alignment during spirited driving.

This replacement serves as a service or performance-oriented component, reducing play in the universal joint region to enable smoother transfer of power from the gearbox to the wheels through acceleration and cornering. It is not a change to the vehicle's structural design.

Installation follows standard TT-02 procedures: remove the original drive elements, compare lengths and splines, fit the new shafts, and check rotation and suspension clearance. Apply light grease to splines where contact is metal-to-metal and inspect for any binding after a short trial run.
