Function and fit

This Kyosho H6053R tail center hub is offered as a replacement for Concept 60 series helicopters and serves as the central structural link in the tail assembly. It restores the connection between the tail rotor drive and the tail boom during maintenance or repair operations.

Installing the hub generally requires removal of the tail rotor and associated linkages to access the component, confirming alignment and axial play, and reassembling with the recommended fasteners and thread locking where needed. Check bearings and mating parts when installing to ensure correct tail response.

The hub's main role in setup is structural, keeping the tail rotor geometry and pitch response consistent. When diagnosing tail wobble or uneven yaw response, inspect the hub for any play and verify that linkages and drive components are centered and firmly secured before making trim or swashplate adjustments.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Replacing a worn hub can remove one source of play, but confirm bearings, linkages, and tail drive components are also in good condition before expecting a full correction of wobble issues.
After installation, perform a low-throttle bench test to confirm linkages return smoothly and there is no axial or radial play before attempting a full flight.
Ensure the hub is seated correctly, linkages are centered with no binding, and secure all fasteners to the recommended torque; avoid adjusting trim until mechanical play is eliminated.
