J Concept S2 Touring Body, YZ-2 DTM Fit

The Yokomo Z2-DTMB presents the J Concept S2 silhouette intended for 1/10 electric touring car chassis following the YZ-2 DTM lineage and ROR-010 variants. A window masking sheet is included for tidy paint work, and the shell’s profile aligns with typical mounting points and wheel cutouts used on those models.

Fitment is straightforward: the body retains conventional cut lines so it generally installs without radical modification on compatible chassis, and the masking sheet assists with clean paint edges. Always double-check body post spacing and suspension clearance before final trimming to ensure proper fit with your setup.

In terms of setup influence, the S2 shape changes airflow and weight distribution. Minor trimming at the splitter or rear edges can refine turn-in and rear bite, while moving mounting positions fore or aft alters yaw behaviour. Make symmetrical cuts and protect windows with the included mask while painting.

Removing small amounts from the front splitter will often sharpen turn-in by reducing front lift; trim gradually and test between cuts to find the balance you prefer.
Shifting the shell forward or rearward on the posts alters yaw sensitivity and aerodynamic balance; experiment with small shifts to see the effect on steering and mid-corner stability.
Increasing rear overhang or smoothing the rear edge can add rear downforce, but make changes incrementally and track-test to avoid overstabilising the car.
Use the supplied masking sheet for crisp lines and avoid heavy paint builds on aerodynamic edges; thin, even coats keep contours effective while producing a durable finish.
