This 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit represents the D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4 and is produced to offer detailed replication of the V4 truss-frame racing motorcycle for hobbyists and collectors.
In real-world competition the D'Antin Pramac Ducati campaigned Ducati Desmosedici-derived machinery in the mid 2000s. For the 2005 season the team ran a GP4-type Desmosedici with Dunlop-shod wheels and a red and black livery, which included hibiscus flower detailing on the cowling. Rider Roberto Rolfo rode the No.44 machine that season while the team operated as a support entry within Ducati's broader programme.
The kit reproduces the GP4-style truss-frame and V4 engine layout typical of the Desmosedici series. It features new moulded parts that reproduce NISSIN brake calipers and includes synthetic rubber tyres marked with Dunlop branding for this issue. Side and seat cowlings are engineered to be removable after the model is assembled to display the engine and internal detail. A quality decal sheet is provided to recreate the race livery and bike numbers.
Assembly uses conventional multi-part construction practices common to 1/12 motorcycle kits. Paying attention to frame alignment and careful positioning of brake parts will improve the scale appearance; decal setting fluids and precise masking for the two-tone paintwork are recommended for the best finish. The tyres are made from synthetic rubber to emulate the look and feel of slick racing tyres at scale.
A precise 1/12 kit that mirrors the GP4 truss-frame and period livery, ideal for display and for modellers who appreciate detailed component work.
