Aluminium rear hub carrier designed for TA05-IFS/TRF-416

This aluminium rear hub carrier is specified for the Tamiya TA05-IFS and TRF-416 chassis and carries the 3Racing part number TA05-IF14/0/LB. It offers a stiffer mounting point for the rear hub compared to some stock parts, helping maintain rear geometry for road-focused setups.

The 0 degree label defines the carrier's fixed caster and roll-center relation at the hub mount. Replacing the carrier influences how the rear reacts to throttle and steering inputs, making it a useful option for drivers trimming handling balance on sealed surfaces.

Installation uses the same mounting location as the original carrier: remove the old part from the rear upright, fit this aluminium unit in the same position and secure with the original screws. Verify bearing fit and wheel alignment after installation before running.

Use this carrier when you need a firmer rear attachment for predictable lap-to-lap handling or when you are tuning rear-end grip and transient response without altering the wider suspension geometry.

After fitting, confirm bearing seating, that the hub spins freely, and remeasure rear toe and wheel alignment to ensure the car behaves as expected on track.
It is an aftermarket replacement compatible with TA05-IFS and TRF-416 rear assemblies; it is not an OEM Tamiya part, so check compatibility with your uprights before purchase.
Typically only minor adjustments such as toe or shim changes are needed; the carrier is intended for small geometry tuning rather than wide-ranging suspension modification.
