Reduced-height servo mount for DIB setups

The Yokomo YOKIB203A aluminium servo mount provides a lower mounting option for servos on DIB-compatible chassis and comes in a blue finish. It is a compact bracket that reduces installed servo height where tight clearances matter, and it emphasises a clean mechanical fit rather than modifying servo performance.

To fit the unit, align the bracket with the DIB-pattern holes on the servo tray, secure the servo to the mount, then bolt the assembly to the chassis. The part serves as both spacer and bracket to help prevent the servo casing from contacting nearby components and to allow a slightly lower servo horn position relative to the deck.

For setup and tuning, the mount is useful when body shells or drivetrain layout dictate servo placement. It supports modest adjustments to placement without altering servo output; expect clearance improvements and a slight shift in the vehicle center of mass when the servo is mounted lower.

Lowering the servo can change the vehicle's centre of gravity slightly, which may subtly affect handling. The effect is usually minor, but expect small differences in response on precise setups.
Yes. The bracket allows modest adjustments to the vertical position of the servo horn, which can be part of a tuning approach to improve clearance or balance without changing servo internals.
For most users the change is small; serious competitors may note the difference and adjust battery placement or ballast to restore preferred balance. Evaluate on-track behavior before making further setup changes.
No. The mount alters only the mechanical position of the servo. Torque, speed, and electrical draw remain those of the installed servo.
