This YS Engine YSG1045 disc valve is a replacement part made for the FZ70S family of two-stroke model engines. It is the intake timing element in disc-valve systems, swapping out worn discs to recover correct timing and sealing performance.

Installation is carried out on the bench: remove the intake cover, take out the old disc assembly, check the mating surfaces for wear, and install the new disc with the edge aligned concentric to the crankcase port. Confirm smooth rotation and clearance before reassembling for a break-in run.

When tuning, the disc valve has a direct effect on intake timing and throttle transient behaviour; a fresh disc can improve throttle response and consistency. Maintain a schedule of inspections for nicks, warping, and seal wear to preserve performance.
