Tuning-focused mount for D-MAX chassis

This motor mount set fits the D-MAX standard RC chassis and provides a compact assembly to lock and micro-adjust the motor position. The kit focuses on a motor mount and clamp working with an aluminum motor cam so you can make small, repeatable motor moves without chassis modification.

As a tuning component the SD-304D keeps the motor rigid under torque while the cam and spring arrangement enable subtle fore-aft changes. That ability is useful when refining pinion engagement and balancing drive forces for consistent handling.

The supplied package includes the mount, clamp, cam, spring and the screws needed to install on a D-MAX standard chassis; fitting involves aligning the cam, tightening the clamp, then securing with the provided button head and countersunk screws.

Small fore-aft motor shifts change gear mesh and weight distribution; moving the motor aft can slightly reduce front traction while moving it forward can improve pinion engagement and reduce lash.
Start with a neutral cam setting, perform short test runs after one or two clicks of adjustment, and note changes in gear noise and handling before final tightening.
Yes — by enabling precise motor placement the SD-304D helps achieve consistent pinion engagement which reduces gear noise and wear when correctly set and clamped.
