Lightweight aluminium rod-end

This 4.5mm aluminium rod end adapter is intended as a direct replacement for front lower arm connections and maintains the 17mm overall length used by many OEM turnbuckle arrangements so mounting positions do not change.

By using aluminium rather than steel, the adapter reduces mass at the linkage which may influence steering transient characteristics when applied as part of a front-end setup. Supplied in a two-piece set to allow renewal of both sides during maintenance.

Installation is simple with standard turnbuckle/rod-end hardware: remove existing rod ends, check thread compatibility and engagement, fit the new adapter, then confirm correct endplay and linkage alignment. Inspect and re-check after an initial shakedown run.

The manufacturer states compatibility with DP-RS13SP and a variety of DP, SDR and DPR chassis platforms, including DP-YD2 and DP-GR86 variants; consult the official compatibility list or your chassis manual for exact fitment details.
